Today the silent was … so loud
So loud that I could hear nothing else
Nothing else but the awkward discomfort
Awkward discomfort that was very much needed
Much needed because there was too much noise
Too much noise that caused a disconnect
A disconnect between me and self
Me and self are now one
Now one thanks to the power of retrospective silence
