Once upon a time, we were young.
Once upon a time, we were kings of our castles.
Once upon a time, we didn’t know hope, or fear or sadness. Because we lived in the moment. We laughed, we cried, and forgot the next minute. Once upon a time nothing could stop us – we owned everything, and everything was open to us. We did not have the “do not’s” that we have now; we did not “do not” dream, “do not” laugh – these have been taught to us. Because our hearts were empty yet had no space for but that which we wanted.
